The advantages of the outdoor high LW9-72.5 SF6 circuit breaker:
Main Benefits:
Powerful Breaking Capability
The LW9-72.5 SF6 circuit breaker uses high-pressure gas to quickly extinguish electrical arcs, ensuring rapid and safe interruption of high currents. It effectively prevents the risk of re-ignition when switching off capacitive or inductive currents, making it reliable for medium and high voltage circuits.
Long-lasting and Durable
This circuit breaker has a long service life and requires less frequent maintenance. It is designed to handle frequent operations and can perform up to 19 consecutive interruptions at full capacity (50 kA), with a total breaking capacity of up to 4200 kA.
2、Long electrical life
Superior Insulation
SF6 gas provides excellent insulation, allowing the breaker to operate safely even under high pressure (0.3 MPa). It passes various insulation tests with ease, offering a strong level of protection against electrical faults.
Reliable Sealing and Low Maintenance
The breaker’s design ensures tight sealing of the gas compartments, keeping moisture out. Each part, including the interrupter chamber and resistor, is housed in its own gas compartment. This makes installation and maintenance simple without needing to open the internal components.

Switch Interlocking
The electrical interlocking of the switch is achieved through the FK conversion, which also includes a reliable internal mechanical interlock. When manually opening the switch, do not forcefully pull the breaking latch if it resists. Similarly, if the closing latch won’t move, do not pull hard. Instead, check the pointer position before attempting to open or close the switch again.
Vacuum Pressure Gauge
The electrical contact vacuum pressure gauge leads are connected at the lower part of the cover, with the normally open contact leading out from the gauge. The lower limit pointer is preset at 0.2 MPa (or 0.25 MPa, considering -10°C). When the SF6 gas pressure drops to 0.2 MPa, the contact closes and connects to the relay protection circuit. Users can adjust the lower limit based on their operational needs, but it should not be set lower than 0.2 MPa.
Manual Operation Rings
The closing pull ring is located on the outer side of the box, while the breaking pull ring is inside. Be sure to use the correct ring during manual operation to avoid errors.
Power for Energy Storage Motor
The energy storage motor must be powered by AC electricity.
