RUM Indoor High Voltage SF6 Gas Insulated Switchgear is a new type of SF6 gas-insulated medium-voltage switchgear independently developed by Timetric Electric. The product adopts a modular design and can be arranged arbitrarily according to different design schemes to achieve a perfect combination of common box units and extended units, meeting the needs of various secondary transmission and distribution substations for flexible use of compact switchgear. It is a completely sealed system, all of whose primary components are enclosed in a stainless steel shell and are not affected by the environment; it has the characteristics of reliable operation, safety, compact structural design, small footprint, maintenance-free, and long life. RUM Indoor High Voltage SF6 Gas Insulated Switchgear is an air-insulated or gas-insulated medium-voltage electrical combination device that can be combined into multiple circuits at will, with the functions of switching, connecting, and protecting the power system, and with load switches as the core components. Its main circuit core components are composed of SF6 load switches or additional circuit breakers and other primary auxiliary electrical appliances. SF6 ring network cabinets can be divided into expandable and non-expandable types according to the combination method, such as: Safering and Safeplus (ABB). According to the different manufacturing processes, they can be divided into common box type (also known as inflatable cabinet or SF6 fully insulated cabinet) and modular type, such as: RM6 and SM6 (Schneider).


In recent years, SF6 ring network cabinets have developed very rapidly, and both manufacturing processes and product reliability have the potential to be on par with international electrical giants. At present, there are only a handful of domestic manufacturers that produce SF6 distribution level at the 40.5kV level. The others are all C-GIS of the first-level system, based on the first-level power system with large current and large capacity.


SF6 gas insulated ring main unit is a switchgear that uses low-pressure SF6 gas as insulation and arc extinguishing medium. It is an important switchgear for ring main unit power supply and terminal power supply. The SF6 gas insulated ring main unit developed by Timetric Electric is a new product developed in accordance with the "12kV Ring Main Unit (Box) Standardized Design and Customization Plan (2019 Edition)".
